Bryce Bartl-Geller is a recent graduate from the University of Washington, where he studied Lighting Design and Environmental Science. He has designed for theater and dance with Theater Schmeater (Country Wife), Acrobatic Conundrum (Fig Tree Waltzes), REBATEnsemble (Richard III), UW School of Drama (The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G; Force Continuum; Boys' Life), UW School of Dance (pieces in the Dance Major's Concert 2016 and 2017), and the Undergraduate Theater Society (Spring Awakening; Electra; Cabaret).
Bryce has worked with The Fifth Avenue Theatre, On The Boards, Washington Ensemble Theater, The Horse in Motion, Strawberry Theatre Workshop, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Cornerstone Theater Company, Seattle Public Theater, and Intiman.
Bryce is the recipient of the 2015 Shelly and Phil Schermer Endowment Scholarship, awarded for success in theater design.
He works part time as a research scientist with the Precision Forestry Cooperative in the School of Forest Sciences at UW. In his free time, Bryce enjoys photography (view his work here), backpacking, woodworking, and music.
