Bryce Bartl-Geller is a recent graduate from the University of Washington, where he studied Lighting Design and Environmental Science. He has designed for theater and dance with Washington Ensemble Theater, Cornish College of the Arts, Theater Schmeater, The Horse In Motion, Acrobatic Conundrum, REBATEnsemble, UW School of Drama, UW School of Dance, and the Undergraduate Theater Society.
Bryce has worked with The Fifth Avenue Theatre, On The Boards, Strawberry Theatre Workshop, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Book-it Rep, Cornerstone Theater Company, Seattle Public Theater, and Intiman.
Bryce is the recipient of the 2015 Shelly and Phil Schermer Endowment Scholarship, awarded for success in theater design.
He works part time as a research scientist with the Precision Forestry Cooperative in the School of Forest Sciences at UW. In his free time, Bryce enjoys photography (view his work here), backpacking, woodworking, and music.
